What’s happening this month at Flemings

October seems to be the month of choice for everyone to get their undercarriage repaired or swapped. Thanks to some of our great partners we are able to offer new quality undercarriage parts for only a fraction more then what used undercarriage usually goes for!

Whether its rollers, sprockets, idlers, chains, track adjusters or track pads we’ve got you covered! If you have chains that are in good shape but your pads have seen better days we can burn off the old pads for you and put on the new ones and have you out and digging the next day! Or maybe your chains have seen better days but your pads still have lots of hours left in them, we can do that too!

We can also shorten your tracks if they have become loose.

Peanut the Shop Guard Dog

Peanut is Jody’s beloved pug and she is protector of all of us here at Flemings. You will be greeted with many barks, maybe some greasy paws and if she likes you she will let you sit and relax but if she doesn’t she will bark at you until you leave!

Jody has been in the industry for over 20years as a heavy duty mechanic and although he specializes in excavators he also works on marookas, loaders, tractors, lawn mowers and anything else that his neighbors bring in for him to repair!

You may remember when Jody drove around in his old green service truck otherwise known as “The Road Toad”. Jody was very successful with his mobile mechanic business but with a wife and three boys at home he needed to be able to spend more time at home and less time on the road.

He stuck with the colour green though and he has a big green shop on his property and he has expanded his business from mobile mechanic to excavator dismantling, rebuilding and selling parts while continuing with repairs in the shop.

To date Jody has wrecked over 120 Hitachi and John Deere excavators.
